1. Agreement to Terms

By using wholehouserenovation.ca or requesting services from Whole House Renovation, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Construction work itself is governed by the written contract you sign for your project; where that contract and these terms differ, the contract applies.

2. Our Services

Whole House Renovation is a design-build general contractor serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our services include:

3. Quotes and Pricing

Price ranges on this website are typical ranges for planning purposes only and are not an offer. A binding price is provided only in a written scope and contract after a site visit. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Quotes are free; we never ask for payment to quote.

4. Payment

Tier 1 projects are paid net on completion. Tier 2+ projects follow a 6-draw schedule (10% design, 15% permit-ready, 20% demolition, 20% rough-in, 20% substantial completion and 15% at the deficiency walkthrough) unless your contract states otherwise.

5. Changes and Hidden Conditions

Tier 2+ contracts include a 5-8% discovery contingency for hidden conditions. Work within the contingency proceeds without a change order. Changes in scope you request, and conditions beyond the contingency, are priced and signed by you before work continues.

6. Scheduling and Cancellation

Site visits can be rescheduled by calling us. Cancellation terms for signed projects, including any costs for ordered materials or completed design work, are set out in your contract.

7. Warranty

Every project includes a written workmanship warranty, and qualifying additions or new builds are registered under our written warranty program. Warranty terms, coverage and duration are set out in your contract.

8. Online Tools

Calculators and tools on this website, including the ROI calculator, tier matcher, pattern picker and financing calculator, provide illustrative estimates only. They are not appraisals, lending offers or quotes. Whole House Renovation is not a lender.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Whole House Renovation is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Our responsibilities for construction work are set out in your project contract.

10. Intellectual Property

Content on this website, including text, graphics, photos and design, belongs to Whole House Renovation or is used with permission, and may not be copied without written consent.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
